I’m just going to sit here now and consider the fact that when I first got into SP, Pierre was going out with her.

I’m not huge on going on about the guys public lives, but can I just say this?  He seems so happy with her [you know who I mean] and that makes me happy.  I mean sure…all those ‘rumours’ about groupies and shit.  He’s in a band, he’s no saint, but he’s gone and married her.  And you know something else?  This is going to get kinda crazy, but my brain’s on overload right now so I just need to say it:

Not everyone believes in monogamous relationships.  In fact I believe the only strictly monogamous relationships happen within non-human animals…so…my point is…though my belief is that God originally wired us to be monogamous…that is no longer the case.  So…really…so what?

And this turned into a weird post.  Sorry about that.  

Guess I need these two days off.

Jimmy The Rev Sullivan, my writing and thoughts on 2012

First of all, RIP to Jimmy. I still miss him and think about him, especially when I listen to A7X’s music or read anything about him. I didn’t do any of those things yesterday on the anniversary of his death. But, that doesn’t mean I didn’t think about him.



I feel ready to write a second part to my Jimmy tribute fic at some stage. I already have a quarter written. On that note, I haven’t really touched The Aviators in a while. Writing it seems to have slowed down. Be assured though, that I aim to finish it at some stage.

Also, Shadows Creed has slowed down as well. I know what I want to write but at the same time it’s not as easy as it was. I know where I want the story to end, which helps, right?

Anyway, today is the 29th of December 2012, and honestly this year? Has been the best year in a long while. I have a lot of amazing memories [along with some not so good ones, but the good far outweighs the bad]. I’ve seen Simple Plan live [and got to meet the band]; our church released a new worship album and had a carols event; I went to Townsville for my ten year high school reunion; I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost two years; and I’ve been in my current job for over a year.

I’m praying that 2013 will be just as eventful and exciting.

  • Shads: It's amusing, though

  • Shads: Oh, that hurt.
  • EP: Bull.
  • Shads: Right. What're you? The devil?
  • EP: Says the vampire...
  • Shads growls: I don't even...
  • Travis: You two are so annoying...
  • Pips: Nothing new there, Cloke...
  • EP growls and vanishes:
  • Shads smirks: Hit a sore spot.
  • Travis: Go to bed...

It’s finally the weekend. This first week back at work has been fun but a total drain on my energy.

And now apparently our director is resigning (finishing in March), so no idea how that will effect (?) my position. Hopefully I’ll still be able to stay on.

In other news, my DVD burner doesn’t like me. I think it’s being deliberately annoying. Oh, well.

I also think that I might be seriously obsessed with Morro’s voice. No, wait, I know I’m obsessed by it. I’ve listened to his version of Never Once non-stop over the past week in my car, changing it once only to Simple Plan the whole week…
